For our Junior Blasters, Fast 9s and U16s – I hope you all had a great season. It was great to be able to get cricket in last weekend for the last session/match of the year. We look forward to catching up and celebrating the season at Junior Presentation Day.
Finals and Cricket in March
Nunawading has the following teams playing semi finals finals THIS THURSDAY AND FRIDAY
U18 Nunawading v Chirnside Park – Bob Saker Oval, Mahoneys Reserve
U14B Joint Nunawading/Laburnum team v Bulleen Templestowe – Kalang Park
U12B Nunawading Purple v Vermont – Mahoneys Reserve Oval number 2
U12B Nunawading Gold v Surrey Hills – Surrey Park Oval number 3
All matches commence at 5.00pm.
It would be great if you are free – and can pop in and support these Nunawading teams play their semi finals. With two semi finals at home – and two away – Nunawading is very well represented.
Our Super 7s will train this Friday night – with plans for a match between both teams on the bottom oval. The Saturday team will then play the final match for the season this Saturday. Our Sunday Team opponent has forfeited, so our Sunday team will not play on Sunday.
We really do need some more volunteers to help at the Bunnings BBQ at Bunnings Nunawading on Sunday 29 March. Once again – this is a great way to raise money from those outside the club – and also a great way to spend some time with other members of the club. All shifts still need extra support – please let me know if you can assist – or sign up via the link below.
Congratulations Harrison Lefebure
We always like to acknowledge significant achievements from our Juniors – whether it be cricket – or in other areas. It gives me pleasure to advise that Harrison Lefebure has been selected to represent Victoria in the Men’s 17 & under Reserves Netball team. Harrison will compete at the 2020 Australian Nationals Men’s & Mixed Netball Championships in Adelaide in April this year.
Congratulations Harrison – we wish you all the best on this fantastic achievement.
A reminder, our Junior Presentation Day is on Sunday 15 March. Listed below is a rundown of times each team’s presentation will occur.
