Nunawading Cricket Club – Junior Weekly Update

Hi everyone

Well – it certainly looks like we will have uninterrupted cricket this weekend!!

Tomorrow night we will be having Super Burgers and Sausages – so please come upstairs after matches, training and Junior Blasters – and enjoy what should be a great evening.

Junior Presentation
As the end of the season does get closer, our Junior Presentation will be held late afternoon/evening, of Sunday 15 March. Exact times of individual team presentations and dinner to be provided soon – however please keep 4.30pm – 7.00pm free in your diaries. This again is always a great way to celebrate the end of the season.

Toyota Good for Cricket Raffle
Thanks to those families who have purchased tickets in the Toyota Good For Cricket Raffle. As mentioned last week – tickets cost $5 each – and there are some fantastic prizes. This year, all purchase details are on line – and can be accessed via the link below.

The beauty of this raffle – is that 100% of $5 you spend, goes to Nunawading Cricket Club. Even if you can just purchase one ticket each (or sell one to family friends), the Club will be able to raise some great funds – and you might be able to win a great prize, including a car!!!!

Trivia Night
Don’t forget the Club’s Trivia Night on Saturday 15 February. Details attached. There is just over a week to go – and there is still room available.

Team Update – U18s
Our U18 team is currently sitting top of the ladder. This is a fantastic achievement, as at the start of the season, it did not look like we would have a team at all. The beauty has been, that with returning players to Nuna – as well as some brand new families – the team has really gelled together – and is enjoying their cricket (and victories) Finals obviously beckon – so Coach Kev will be ensuring the boys remain focused. Special thanks to Club Coach Rob Ferdinands – who helped the boys at the start of the season – whilst Kev was overseas.
