Nunawading Cricket Club – Thanks for a great 2018/2019 season

Hi everyone – I hope everyone enjoyed the Nunawading Cricket Club Junior Presentation Night – just on two weeks ago. It certainly was a great way to celebrate the many achievements of the season – and to see our families together – and most importantly our children having fun.

Association Junior Presentation
Tonight was the Box Hill Reporter District Cricket Association (BHRDCA) Junior Presentation Night. The following Nunawading Cricketers were acknowledged:

· U18 Premiers – Nunawading Cricket Club

· U18 BHRDCA Representative Team Premiers (consisting of Nunawading players, Josh Richardson, Rohan Roy and Cameron Clark)

· U18 BHRDCA Association Bowling award – Cameron Clark

· U14 BHRDCA Representative Team Premiers (consisting of Nunawading player Kaelan Scully)

· Under 12 Girls – BHRDCA Representative Team – Claudia Fatone Shield Bowling award – Eloise Wood

This is a great way to finish the season – and acknowledge some fantastic performances. Congratulations to all. We now have another Premiership flag (and a Representative Shield for 12 months – given that our Nunawading boys were there tonight to collect it)) to add to our club rooms.

Season 2019/2020
Well, it wont be long, before it is cold and wet – and we are all looking forward to some warmer weather again!! You should receive the first information about the 2019/2020 season around late June, early July. Next season, we have already started to plan, with an increased focus on training and specialised coaching for our Juniors (regardless of age). We are also looking to again run a winter program from club coach Rob Ferdinands, so again, please keep an eye out for details (if you think you have missed it, please feel free to contact me).

New Players
Now is the time to start talking to families, friends and players of other sports your children may play. WE WANT MORE PLAYERS to enjoy cricket and community at Nunawading. Regardless of ability or experience, every child will play at Nuna who wants to. Please put the word out – and feel free to pass on my details if they wish to discuss further.
