Nunawading Cricket Club – Junior Weekly Update

Hi everyone – Tomorrow night – and also the weekend – will be brilliant cricket weather!! This is fantastic, as it gives us a great chance to enjoy the last few weeks of the season.

Tomorrow night will be the final game of the season for our U12s and U16s. Our U18s will play finals next week, and hopefully our U14s will also play finals. The Girls, Fast 9s, Super 7s and Junior Blasters still have 1-3 weeks to go.

After cricket tomorrow night, we will have our Super Burgers, Vegie Burgers and sausages. Please come up stairs, enjoy the fantastic weather, grab a drink, and hear how our children performed – (where some will as always receive a Picollino Player of the week voucher).

Please remember, Council inspectors may be out and about looking at car parking – and be mindful of the works at Mahoneys Reserve – we want everyone to be safe.

Junior Presentation Night
Friday 15 March is Junior Presentation Night. This is a fantastic way to celebrate the season. Timings of age groups are listed below. I encourage everyone to be there for dinner. All drinks will be available at bar prices. It would be great if families can be present for as much of the night as possible (or at least for those age groups where children have worked closely together – ie 9s and 12s.

Junior Structure
May I ask everyone, to please have a look again at the Junior Structure (which Club President Dave Cowell sent out last week) for next season. We are still looking for some roles to be filled. Alternatively, if you have an interest in helping out in any way next season – now is the time to let us know.
