Nunawading Cricket Club – Junior Weekly Update

Hi everyone – with some great weather planned over the next few days and weekend, I think we are all about to have some fantastic cricket and Community involvement ahead!!

Parkmore Primary School – ‘Moonlight Cinema’

This Saturday evening our Community Partner Parkmore Primary School are holding their ‘Moonlight Cinema Night’. This Saturday from 5.00pm – 8.00pm, please come along to Parkmore Primary to be part of a really special night, where many community organisations will be there (Flyer attached)! This part of the night is a free event and also a great way to engage in our extended community.

At 8.00pm, an outdoor CINEMA EXPERIENCE will be held with the movie ‘SING’ shown on the GIANT SCREEN. Given the expected great weather, what a great way to enjoy a Saturday night for the whole family. Bookings can be made at www.trybooking.com/299407 – or at the door!! There are also wet weather contingencies in place!! The movie is $20 for a family of five. Please come along, grab some friends and make a night of it!! I hear there may even be the opportunity to buy a quiet drink on the night………..

Nunawading CC will also have a stand at Parkmore PS from 5.00pm, and will also have a designated area to run some cricket clinics/drills. This is not only a fantastic opportunity to promote our Club, but also to demonstrate Communities coming together. If you are keen on helping out and representing Nunawading CC on the night at our stand – or helping with the drills – please let me know ASAP – even if just for 30-60 minutes!! Special thanks to Parkmore Primary School for inviting our club to be part of this great night. In turn, please come along to Parkmore PS!!

Please come along again this Friday night for our post-match reports to see how our children performed, where we will have some BIG SUPER BURGERS and a guaranteed great night!! Again, our Milo, 7s and 9s will have their presentations earlier in the night, to ensure families of younger juniors are not their too late.
